This is a fun little walk cycle I've been playing around with for the past couple days. I know that the timing will be off if you turn off layers and put them back, but I'm not flash-savvy enough to fix that; my apologies.
Everything looks pretty fine here, love the layers idea! The only thing that bothered me was the movement of the back legs (they feel like, they are only lifting up the body and the front legs du all the job...).... Shouldn't they work a little differently? Then again, I might be just seeing things, it could be only the anatomy of your dragon that have them work this way, that is a shape of back leg I am not very familiar with...
(PS: You're a student in animation?! That's awesome! Asdfghjklm*gibberish*! I'm going to an arts and animation school next year! I'msoexcited °° How is your school? )
Yeah, everything here is a little wobbly, and not entirely anatomically correct, it was more for fun than for reference.
And I'm in a multimedia course that specializes in film animation, so I work more with cameras, green screens, and film effects than frame-by-frame animations... I do these animations for my own enjoyment. Although this year, I'm going into the 3D stream of my course, so I'll be making 3D models and rigs. I enjoy the variety of learning I am getting, so I would say I'm loving it! ^^
